I am 50 years old, dry lips and very fair skin.
Wish there were swatches anywhere to be found for these lipsticks, can only find for their previous packaging and colors.
The ingredients are very good for this price. The lipstick is moisturizing enough for winter wear. Rose wood looks beige on the picture and artificial light, but is little more pink in the spring light. It's a bit buildable and doesn't look cakey on my lips. It's a flattering (more so for me in natural light) nude type colour, that still gives a little something to the lips without washing me out. Texture and scent comfortable and neutral.
I would like to try more, but am a little put off by all colours looking very similar and muddy, would like to have some brighter colours. Or maybe try again in the fall when the desire for darker tones return.Was this rating helpful? (7) (0)

06 Pearly Rose is very delicate, a slight bit glossy neutral pink, would suit a lot of skintones. 03 Choc Plum is matte and very pigmented, from this one I only dab a little on with my fingers, if I apply directly from the lipstick it's too much and not subtle anymore. Choc plum holds a long time, Pearly Rose has more slip so lasts less long but is a gorgeous spring color. Both worth the buy.

I have the shade RED BERRY. It is a red shade that is mature and grown up kind of red. It is suitable for work situation. It will not bother anyone and compared to Soultree lipsticks this is more moisturizing and slippery. I am not really reaching this lipstick and the reason might be that the shade bores me to death. The texture is similar to those Lily Lolo lipsticks. No fragrance. My preference goes to soultree.

Plum Cake shade

I ordered the Plum Cake shade, hoping for the deep plum/purple that it looks like online. That's not what it actually looks like when I received it. It's a medium dark, slightly pinky/reddish mauve colour on my very pale, cool-toned skin. There is no shimmer, which is great. For me it's important that the colours I wear are cool-toned and don't have any visible brown or warm tones and this is definitely a cool-toned lipstick. It's perfectly wearable for daytime, so I'm still happy with it, I'll just keep looking for the dark purple shade I want from other brands! The formula is a satin finish, pigmented, and comfortable to wear. It's not too creamy which is good because the super creamy lipsticks come off too easily, and it's not dry either. I can easily recommend this lipstick, and I would try other colours for the price and ingredients.
