As an organic cosmetics pioneer from Ardèche, in the south of France, Melvita constantly striving to produce innovative, impressive and high-performance formulas that meet all the requirements.

Organic plant oils, floral waters and honey are the simplest, purest natural skincare products that form the heart and soul of Melvita beauty recipes. They are obtained with particular care in order to preserve the integrity and quality of the active ingredients and their affinity with the skin as best as possible. In addition, the textures, fragrances and packaging by Melvita are a feast for the senses.

All the key ingredients are of natural origin and Melvita guarantees the traceability of 20 supply chains - from finished products all the way back to the seeds. Furthermore, the brand is backed by over 42 producers, 25 hectares of environmentally friendly agriculture, over 1,000 tons of fresh plants and more than 400 experienced pickers.

Bees play a central role - especially since the precious insects play a key role in protecting biodiversity. Melvita supports 3 philanthropy programs:

  • "Cocagne Bees," working with the Réseau Cocagne network, to set up a beekeeping business in organic market gardens that help integrate people back into the workplace.
  • "Argan Bees," working in partnership with the NGO Man & Nature, to develop beekeeping among the women's cooperatives in the argan oil industry.
  • Melvita also supports the "Le Rucher du Cade" employee association in its activities to raise awareness about the importance of saving bees.

Melvita's formulas are ECOCERT certified and carry the Cosmébio seal of approval. This means that at least 95% of all ingredients used are of natural origin and at least 95% of the plant-based ingredients are sourced from controlled organic cultivation.

Melvita products are guaranteed to be free from:

  • synthetic fragrances and dyes
  • preservatives such as parabens, phenoxyethanol and methylisothiazolinone
  • chemical sun protection
  • silicones, mineral oils and aluminum salts
