Anise
Pimpinella Anisum Fruit Oil, Pimpinella Anisum (Anise) Fruit Oil
The anise, originating from the Apiaceae family, is native mainly to Asia, the Mediterranean region, southern Europe and the United States. When used externally, it has stimulating, antiseptic and warming effects, however, it is also well-suited to for gargling. The anise may be applied as a remedy against fleas, mites and lice, however, this may only be used in low dosage, as it may be poorly tolerated. Pregnant women and allergy sufferers are advised against the use of anise.
Anise has balancing and harmonizing properties when used in aromatherapy, and rids the body and soul of depression, fears and disharmony.
