The formula of this alkalising massage oil by Michael Droste-Laux is based on Vedic scriptures. This is because the central element of Ayurveda is massage, which aims to stimulate the body's own regeneration phase. The basis for the alkaline body oil is a decoction of fine herbs, boiled with sesame oil until all the water has evaporated. This gives the oil its positive properties and absorbs the herbs' colour, fragrance and taste. This cooking process takes up to 72 hours with constant stirring. The result is a massage oil that primarily serves as a lubricant for an optimum gliding effect. Application:

• Pour a few drops of the oil into the palm of your hand and massage it onto the affected areas of the body.

Tip: The oil can also be used when shaving. Add a few drops to the shaving cream. This makes it easier for the blade to glide over the skin.

IMPORTANT: Massage oils must not be used together with latex condoms, as the oil will cause them to crack and lose their protective properties.
