Description
The beautifully intense and matte shades make up the organically certified Avril Lipsticks - for spectacual colour results. At the same time they condition the lips thanks to valuable, nourishing plant oils.
Application:
- For long-lasting results contour the lips using a lip pencil.
- Then fill the lips with the lip liner and blend with a brush.
- Then, apply a first layer of lipstick.
- Place a tissue between your lips and slightly press the lips together to remove any excess lipstick.
- Finally, apply a second layer of lipstick. Et voilà: long-lasting, intense colour guaranteed!

I was having high expectation for corail but it was so orange that it is not easy to use and it did not glide smoothly. Quite disappointed. I think the color is more suitable with people with dark medium skin and not people with fair to medium skin tone.

I like it because it's really natural lipstick. The consistency is very wet so isn't easy to apply for the lips as a perfect line. Anyway, it stays quite long time on the lips.

The colour on the lips is not really the same as on the photo, it results more like a sort of orange peach colour than pink. It leaves traces on teeth if used alone and even more so used with a gloss. Also not sure if this has been made obvious but it is matte and not shiny. I will not buy again am afraid.

Soft and creamy lipstick, lasts fairly long. The colour is a bit darker than in the pictures, I suggest the pictures are updated and changed to get a real feel of the colour, a "colour watch" would also be very useful and improve customer satisfaction.

Rose poupée and Grenat

I have mixed feelings about these lipsticks. I bought two lipsticks, Rose poupée and Grenat, and I don't like Rose poupée that much, while Grenat is much better. A disadvantage of both lipsticks is that even when new, they smell of crayons which is usually a sign you should be throwing them away... The other reasons I don't like Rose poupée are that the colour fades very quickly, and if you apply it straight from the tube it leaves a thick layer so the lipstick looks plastered on. This looks much better applied with a brush. Rose poupée is a colour that is difficult to describe - it's a dark peachy, pinky nude. I wear it as a cream blush too and it fades very quickly. Grenat has the same problem with the smell but it is very pigmented and the colour actually lasts for hours. It looks good even when applied directly from the tube. It is a dark plum purple and I love it. However, because of the smell, I don't think I would purchase any of these lipsticks again. What I do love about them though is that there is NO SHIMMER. Almost every natural makeup brand makes frosty lipsticks that look old-fashioned and ageing on most people so I am delighted to see these non-metallic lipsticks available. However, they are not matte, they have a creamy/satin finish.
