The Fruit Pigmented Ultra Lengthening Mascara by 100% Pure ensures beautifully vibrant, glossy lashes in the blink of an eye! It separates, lengthens and intensifies the eyelashes, providing it with all the benefits of provitamin B5, vitamin E, proteins derived from oats and wheat. It is gentle enough for all skin types and contact lens wearers.
Application:
- Apply to the eyelashes using zigzag movements, starting at the base of the lash and working upwards.
- Apply 1 - 3 coats depending on the desired result.
- Easily removed with water or face cleanser.

I don't often bother posting reviews but I'm *very* disappointed with this. I appreciate that it has lots of organic ingredients, is very ethical etc. but it's very expensive for such poor results.
After a long search I chose this because my eyes had been getting very itchy and although I know I shouldn't use any make up at all for a while, I really don't want to stop using mascara - it's the only make up I'm using at the moment because of allergic reactions. I thought that, being free of some known allergens etc, this one might be ok around my eyes.
I've been using it for a few days and - so far - my eyes haven't reacted, which is the important thing; but if this mascara was all they used, I don't know how they got the effect in the photo on the website! I have to put 5 or 6 coats of this mascara on for it to show it's even there and it's certainly not what I'd call "ultra lengthening". For an old bird my lashes are quite good but this mascara doesn't lengthen them at all. (I wouldn't mind so much if it added volume instead but it doesn't!)
I've worn mascara almost every day for 50 years so I have a pretty practised hand but if I apply this as per the instructions (start at the roots, wiggle it...) it always smudges. I don't have that problem with other brands I've used.
Providing my eyes don't start to react, having spent so much on this I shall continue using it until it runs out; because it's so thin I don't think it's going to last the three months after which the manufacturers - wisely - advise it should be discarded.

I love it! I have been trying the mascara out for a few weeks and i really, really like it! It holds up like a regular mascara and is also buildable for a more dramatic look. I was expecting it to smudge on hot days but there is nothing. It's impressive that a natural mascara doesn't smudge as much or at all compared to a "normal" mascara. Very happy i made the purchase, won't be the last one. Happy to have found it :)

Allergic reaction & smudged easily

I really wanted to like this mascara! It looked promising, natural ingredients, nicely packaged and it smelled amazing, like chocolate. But unfortunately it went down hill from there… after about half an hour of wearing this on a couple of occasions I had an allergic reaction, my eyes felt very stingy and started to go puffy but when I took this mascara off the stingy sensation went away quite quickly. I do have quite sensitive skin but I was not expecting to react to any of the ingredients. It also very easily smudges, so not great if you are looking for a long lasting mascara.

I was looking for my perfect mascara for years, tried hundreds of them, and when I just thought I found a perfect one, there always was something wrong, either not lasting long, drying too long, made my eyes red or itchy, clumping, brush was poor, I had effect of dust or smudges under my eyes... a real nightmare! Tempted by many positive reviews I bought this one and I am amazed! My lashes are long, defined and I have no problems with applying mascara - smells lovely, brush is great, works well alone and with other products (I use sometimes a mascara primer, however I noticed thet with this mascara I don't need one anymore). It lasts long but is super easy to remove. I will definitely buy again.

Wonderful natural mascara...not perfect, but worth the compromise

I have been using this mascara for more than 10 years, after a long search for a truly natural mascara. While it does tend to smudge on my eyelids after a while, it is so natural, smells wonderful and does not make my eyelashes fall out, the way that toxic industrial mascaras have done. It is not super volumizing but it does lengthen and define and, because it dries quickly, you can build up several coats without clumping.
